Materials

  • Paper plate
  • Red, black, yellow, and white acrylic paint
  • Red and black construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Black marker

Instructions

  1. Gather your supplies, including a paper plate, construction paper, paint, scissors, glue, and a marker. Minnie Mouse craft supplies including paint, paper plate, construction paper, scissors, and glue.
  2. Paint the bottom half of the paper plate red and let it dry completely. Paper plate half painted red with paintbrush and red paint bottle beside it.
  3. Paint the top half of the plate black. Paper plate painted half red and half black with paintbrush and black paint bottle beside it.
  4. Use a round template to trace two large circles onto black construction paper and cut them out. These will become Minnie’s ears. Black construction paper with circles traced on using a pencil. Cut-out black circles on a table with scissors nearby.
  5. On red construction paper, trace and cut out a bow shape. Red construction paper with a bow shape traced in pencil. Cut-out red bow shape placed on a table.
  6. Use the black marker to add details to the bow. Red bow with black marker details drawn on it.
  7. Dip the sponge dauber into white paint and stamp polka dots across the red section of the plate to complete Minnie’s classic look. Paper plate with red and black paint, decorated with white polka dots.
  8. Once dried, flip the paper plate over and glue two of the black circles to the top back of the plate to make Minnie’s ears. Back of paper plate with black circles being glued on for Minnie’s ears.
