- Paper shred, green
- Acrylic craft paint, medium brown
- Colored pencils
- Cardstock, white
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Paintbrush
- Scissors

How to Make an Easter Basket Paper Plate Craft
This paper plate Easter basket craft involves painting, coloring, cutting, and a little gluing. Follow the steps below to create this super cute Easter craft.
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather all the supplies for this paper plate Easter basket craft. Having everything ready before you begin makes the process smooth and enjoyable.
Step 2: Paint the Paper Plate
Basecoat the outside of the paper plate with medium brown acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat if necessary.
Step 3: Trace the Basket
Download, print, and cut out the basket pattern.
Trace the basket shape onto the outside of the painted paper plate with a pencil.
Step 4: Cut Out the Basket
Cut out the basket shape with scissors, making sure to cut outside the traced lines for a clean, finished look.
Step 5: Draw the Basket Weave Pattern
Using a black marker, draw a plaid or basket weave pattern on the base of the basket and some lines along the handle.
Step 6: Prepare the Easter Eggs
Download and print the Easter egg pattern sheet onto white cardstock.
