How to Make a Paper Plate Fox Craft

Here's the step-by-step, easy to follow start to finish.

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Grab everything on the list above and lay it out, this one moves fast once you get started.

Step 2: Paint the Plate Ivory

Paint the inside of the plate ivory and let it dry.

Step 3: Trace the Fox Head

Print the patterns and trace the fox head onto the inside of the plate.

Step 4: Cut Out the Fox Head

Cut along the traced lines to shape the fox head.

Step 5: Trace the Muzzle Bridge

Lay the pattern back on the plate and trace the muzzle bridge shape.

Step 6: Paint the Muzzle

Paint that section orange and let it dry.

Step 7: Trace the Ears and Nose

Trace two outer ears onto orange cardstock, a nose onto black cardstock, and two inner ears onto pink cardstock.

Step 8: Cut Out the Ears and Nose

Cut out all of the traced pieces.

Step 9: Give the Ears Some Fur

Glue the inner ears onto the outer ears, then dab a little white paint on the ear tips for a furry look, that small touch is what sells it.

Step 10: Attach the Nose and Ears

Glue the nose to the bottom center of the face and the ears to the top corners.

Step 11: Add the Eyes

Add the wiggle eyes and the nose to finish.
