How to Make a Paper Plate Bunny Craft
This paper plate bunny craft comes together quickly with tracing, cutting, and gluing. Follow the steps below to create your adorable Easter bunny.
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather all the supplies needed for this paper plate bunny craft. Having everything ready before you begin makes the process smooth and easy.
Step 2: Trace and Cut the Pattern Pieces
Download and print the bunny patterns, then cut out with scissors. Trace the outer ears twice and the teeth once onto white cardstock, the inner ears twice and the muzzle once onto light pink cardstock, and the nose once onto bright pink cardstock with a pencil. You could also use colored craft foam or craft felt.
Step 3: Cut Out All Pieces
Cut out all the traced pattern pieces with scissors, making sure to cut inside the lines for a clean, finished look.
Step 4: Assemble the Ears and Muzzle
Attach the light pink inner ears to the white outer ears with a glue gun and glue sticks. Glue the nose to the top center and the teeth to the bottom center of the muzzle. TIP: Liquid craft glue also works here — just allow extra drying time.
Step 5: Make the Whiskers
Cut two black chenille stems into six pieces, each about 4 inches long. Draw dots on the muzzle and outline the teeth with a black marker, then glue three whiskers to each side of the muzzle.
Step 6: Attach the Ears
Attach the finished ears to the top edge of the back of the paper plate with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Step 7: Add Eyes and Muzzle
Attach two wiggle eyes to the bunny's face with a glue gun and glue sticks. To finish, glue the completed muzzle under the wiggle eyes.
