Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Paint the outside of the plate dark yellow and let it dry.
Step 3: Trace the Cob
Print the patterns and trace the corn cob shape onto the plate.
Step 4: Cut the Cob
Cut out the cob.
Step 5: Start the Yellow Kernels
Dip your index finger into light yellow paint and stamp dots across the cob.
Step 6: Fill In the Yellow Rows
Keep stamping until you have rows of yellow kernels. Add some medium yellow too.
Step 7: Add Orange Kernels
Add a layer of orange kernels the same way.
Step 8: Layer More Orange
Keep layering light and dark orange dots in between the yellow ones.
Step 9: Add Purple Kernels
Add dark purple kernels for a pop of color.
Step 10: Let the Kernels Dry
Once you like your colorful, scattered pattern, let everything dry.
Step 11: Trace the Husks
Trace two corn husks onto green cardstock.
Step 12: Cut the Husks
Cut out the husks.
Step 13: Draw the Husk Ridges
Draw husk ridge lines onto them with the green marker.
Step 14: Add the Eyes
Glue the wiggle eyes onto the cob.
Step 15: Stamp On Cheeks
Stamp pink cheeks just under the eyes with the sponge dabber and let dry.
Step 16: Draw the Smile
Draw a smile from cheek to cheek with the black marker.
Step 17: Attach the Husks
