How to Make the Whale Paper Cup Craft

Step 1: Gather your supplies
Gather your supplies.

Step 2: Paint the cup
Start by painting the paper cup with blue paint. Let it dry before moving on to the next step. This will be the body of your whale.

Step 3: Make the tail and fin
Print and cut the provided template, then trace it onto a piece of cardboard. Once traced, paint it with blue paint to create the whale’s tail and fin.

Step 4: Attach the tail and fin
Once the paint is dried on both the cup and cardboard pieces, glue the tail and fin onto the paper cup.

Step 5: Add the eyes and spout
Add the googly eyes to give your whale a charming expression.
Attach fuzzy wires to the top of the paper cup to create the spout or water spray effect.
All done!
Voilà! Your adorable paper cup whale is ready to make a splash in the imaginary ocean.

We'd love to see yours! Snap a photo and share it in the comments.
