Jellyfish Handprint Craft
Get ready for some under-the-sea fun with this jellyfish handprint craft! It's an easy, scissor-skill-building activity perfect for preschoolers learning about ocean animals.
Materials
- Pink construction paper
- Purple construction paper
- White construction paper
- Glue stick
- Black marker
- Purple marker
- Pencil
Tools
- Scissors
Instructions
- Gather your supplies.
- Trace and cut out a handprint on pink construction paper. This will be the jellyfish’s tentacles.
- Cut a purple dome shape with a scalloped bottom to form the top of the jellyfish.
- Glue the purple dome over the palm area of the pink handprint.
- Cut two small ovals from white paper for the eyes.
- Glue the eyes to the purple dome.
- Use a black marker to draw pupils in the eyes.
- Grab a purple marker and draw wiggly lines down each finger to look like tentacles.
- Let everything dry, and your jellyfish is ready to float into your next ocean-themed lesson!
