Shark Paper Plate Craft for Preschoolers

Step 1: Gather your supplies

Step 2: Cut out the template

Start by printing and cutting out the shark template provided.

Step 3: Paint the plate

Fold the paper plate in half and start painting it. Blue in the inner part and a mix of white and blue at the outer part. Also, paint the fins of the shark.

Step 4: Paint the fins

While the paint is still wet, paint the fins of the shark as well. These can be a mix of white and blue or just one solid color, depending on your preference.

Step 5: Attach the fins

Allow the paint to dry completely. This may take some time, so be patient. Once the paint is dried fold the paper plate that is the body of the shark in half and attach the fins to the shark.

Step 6: Add the googly eyes

Now it’s time to add the details. Attach two googly eyes to the shark’s face using double-sided tape. These will give your shark a fun and expressive look.

Use a marker to draw a friendly smile on your shark’s face. After all, we want our sharks to be cute and approachable! And ta-da! Your shark is complete and ready to be put out on display!
