Cow Craft Stick Project

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Gather your supplies and clear a spot on the table, because we’re about to get a little “moo-ssy.”

Step 2: Build the Base

Line up craft sticks side by side, then glue a shorter stick across the back to hold them together. This is your cow’s body—fence vibes, but cuter.

Step 3: Paint the Sticks White

Paint the whole front of the sticks white and let it dry. White coats are not just for doctors, they’re for cows too.

Step 4: Paint the Spots

Using black paint, add big spots all over. They don’t need to be perfect circles—wobbly blobs look even more like real cow spots.

Step 5: Trace the Felt Pieces

Trace a big oval snout and two inner ears on pink felt, and two outer ears on black felt.

Step 6: Cut Out the Felt Pieces

Cut out all of the felt pieces.

Step 7: Layer the Ears

Glue the pink inner ears onto the black outer ears so they’re layered. Now your cow has ears that would make any barnyard jealous.

Step 8: Add the Eyes and Snout

Glue the googly eyes onto the white painted sticks, then stick the pink felt snout right under them. It’s starting to look like a cow, right?

Step 9: Add the Ears

Glue the ears to the top corners of the cow’s head. It’s officially listening for snack time.

Step 10: Draw the Nostrils

Use your marker to draw nostrils on the snout and add a few little details if you like. (Extra freckles? Why not.)

Step back and admire your masterpiece, then hang it up or add it to your farmyard of popsicle stick animals. It’s udderly adorable!
