How to Make the H is for Horse Craft
Step 1: Gather your supplies
Gather your supplies: construction paper in brown and black, glue, scissors, a marker, and the provided template.
Step 2: Cut out the template
Cut out the “H” horse template carefully using scissors.
Step 3: Trace the shapes
Place the template on brown construction paper, trace around it, and do the same for the black construction paper.
Step 4: Cut out the shapes
Cut along the traced lines with your scissors.
Step 5: Add the mane and tail
Arrange the cut-out pieces on a flat surface – put the black mane and tail onto the brown “H” shape, following the guide picture. Apply glue to the back of each black piece and carefully place them on the corresponding spots on the brown “H.”
Step 6: Draw the face
Draw an eye and mouth on your horse using the marker, following the guide picture or letting your imagination run wild.
All done!
Press down gently to secure the bond. Your “H” horse masterpiece is ready to trot into the spotlight!
