What You'll Need for This Bald Eagle Handprint Craft
Let's Make an Eagle!
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Grab your brown, white, and yellow construction paper and a pair of scissors!
Step 2: Cut Out the Pieces
Trace and cut out four handprints on brown paper. These will become the eagle’s wings. Cut the lighter handprints in half.
Cut out the eagle’s head and tail from white paper using the template pieces.
Use yellow paper to cut out the beak and two feet.
Step 3: Make the Wings
Layer two handprints together, slightly offset, to form one wing. Repeat for the second wing and glue them together.
Step 4: Assemble the Face
Glue the eyes and beak onto the eagle’s head.
Step 5: Color the Pupils
Use a black marker to color in the pupils.
Step 6: Attach the Head
Glue the completed head onto the top center of the wing set.
Step 7: Add the Tail
Attach the white tail beneath the body, tucking it slightly behind the wings.
Step 8: Add the Feet
Finish by gluing the yellow feet at the bottom of the white tail piece.
All done!
Your majestic little eagle is ready to soar!
