How to Make a Bird Handprint Craft
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather your materials.
Step 2: Cut Out the Pieces
Trace your child’s hand on yellow construction paper. Use the template to trace out the shapes for the bird. Cut all the pieces and the handprint out.
Step 3: Add the Legs
Glue the bird’s legs behind the body so they peek out below.
Step 4: Add the Wing
Glue the yellow handprint to the center of the body, fingers pointing back like feathers.
Step 5: Add the Eye
Glue the white circle on the bird’s head for the eye.
Step 6: Draw the Details
Use a black marker to add the pupil and details to the bird.
All done!
Your handprint bird is ready to fly!
