How to Make a Handprint Flamingo
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather your materials: pink, dark pink, white, and black construction paper, pencil, scissors, glue stick, and a black marker.
Step 2: Cut Out the Pieces
Trace your child’s hand on pink paper and cut it out. This will be the flamingo’s body.
Use the template to cut out a flamingo neck and head shape from pink paper.
Step 3: Attach the Neck
Glue the neck behind the thumb side of the handprint.
Step 4: Add the Wing
Cut out a wing shape from dark pink paper and glue it on top of the handprint.
Step 5: Add the Legs
Cut two legs from dark pink paper and glue them behind the bottom of the handprint.
Step 6: Add the Eye
Cut a white circle for the eye and glue it onto the head.
Step 7: Draw the Pupil
Use a black marker to draw the center of the eye.
Step 8: Add the Beak
Cut out a small black triangle for the beak and glue it at the tip of the head.
All done!
Your pink flamingo is ready to strut!
