How to Make a Popsicle Stick Hot Dog
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather your supplies — craft sticks, felt, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, paint, and glue gun.
Step 2: Glue the Sticks Together
Line up two craft sticks and glue them together using small stick pieces on the back.
Step 3: Round the Edges
Use scissors to round off the edges.
Step 4: Paint the Hot Dog
Mix honey brown and burgundy paint to make a hot dog color. Paint the craft sticks and let dry.
Step 5: Trace the Bun
Trace the bun shape onto tan felt with a marker.
Step 6: Cut Out the Bun
Cut out the bun shape from the felt.
Step 7: Add the Hot Dog
Glue the painted hot dog piece in the center of the felt bun.
Step 8: Add the Eyes and Cheeks
Glue on two googly eyes and pink felt cheeks.
Step 9: Cut the Pipe Cleaners
Cut red and yellow pipe cleaners.
Step 10: Add Ketchup and Mustard
Glue the pipe cleaners in squiggles to make ketchup and mustard.
Step 11: Draw the Details
Use a brown marker to add details.
All done!
