How to Make a Santa Chimney Popsicle Stick Craft
This craft comes together best when you work step by step and let paint dry between stages. Nothing is complicated, but taking it in order makes a big difference.
Step 1: Gather all supplies.
Lay everything out on your work surface so it’s easy to grab as you go.
Step 2: Build the chimney base.
Line up five jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Trim additional jumbo craft sticks to width and attach them across the back using a glue gun and glue sticks.
This forms the main chimney shape, so lining things up neatly here helps later.
Step 3: Measure the chimney.
Measure the craft sticks and make a line at the four-inch mark with a pencil.

Step 4: Cut the chimney to size.
Carefully cut along the marked line with scissors. The four-inch section will become the chimney. The smaller section can be discarded or saved.

Step 10: Cut out the boots.

Step 11: Assemble Santa’s legs.
Glue the boots to the ends of the legs and add a cotton ball as the fur trim at the bottom of each leg.
Step 12: Glue Santa’s legs to the chimney.
Flip the chimney over, then attach the legs, boots up, on the back of the chimney using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Hold them in place for a few seconds so the glue sets.
Step 13: Display.
Once dry, display your Santa chimney popsicle stick craft on a shelf, door, or bulletin board.
