Mummy Paper Plate Craft
Get spooky this Halloween with an easy Mummy Paper Plate Craft for kids! Using simple supplies like paper plates, googly eyes, and paper strips, this fun activity makes the cutest little mummy.
Materials
- Paper plate
- Black acrylic paint
- White and cream construction paper
- Googly eyes (large preferred)
- Pop-dot tape
- Glue
- Black marker
Tools
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
Instructions
- Gather all of your supplies including a paper plate, black paint, googly eyes, white and cream paper, scissors, glue or pop-dot tape, and a marker.
- Cut the white and cream construction paper into long strips.
- Crumple the strips so they look like wrinkled mummy bandages. Connect the strips together using pop-dot tape.
- Paint the front of the paper plate with black acrylic paint and let it dry completely.
- Glue two large googly eyes onto the top center of the plate.
- Begin gluing the paper strips across the plate, layering them so the eyes are still partly visible.
- Continue adding strips until the plate looks like it has been wrapped in mummy bandages.
- Trim off any strips that hang past the edges of the plate.
- Once finished, your spooky mummy craft is ready to display for Halloween.
