Step by Step Bat Popsicle Stick Craft Instructions
This craft is built in layers, which makes it approachable for younger kids and easy to prep ahead of time.
Step 1: Gather your supplies
Lay out all materials on a flat work surface so everything is within easy reach before you begin.
Step 2: Build the triangle frame
Glue three jumbo craft sticks together to form a triangle shape. Press gently and allow the glue to set before moving on.
Step 3: Cut the bat pieces
Cut a large triangle from black cardstock to fit behind the craft stick frame. Cut two bat wing shapes from black cardstock as well.
Step 4: Attach the background and wings
Glue the black cardstock triangle to the back of the craft stick frame. Attach one wing to each side of the triangle so they extend outward.
Step 5: Add the bat’s eyes
Cut two small circles from white cardstock and glue them onto the black triangle. Use a black and yellow marker to add pupils.
Step 6: Display
Once the glue is dry, display the bat popsicle stick craft on a wall, bulletin board, or hang it up as part of a Halloween display.
