Monkey Paper Roll Craft

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Gather your supplies, including a toilet paper roll, paints, construction paper, googly eyes, pipe cleaner, scissors, glue, and a black marker.

Step 2: Paint the Roll Brown

Paint the entire toilet paper roll brown and let it dry completely.

Step 3: Trace the Monkey Pieces

Trace the monkey’s face, ears, tummy, and hair tuft onto brown, light brown, and pink construction paper.

Step 4: Cut Out the Pieces

Cut out all of the pieces.

Step 5: Add the Tummy, Face, Ears, and Hair

Glue the light brown oval onto the center of the toilet paper roll to create the monkey’s tummy.

Attach the light brown oval face piece near the top of the roll.

Glue the pink inner ear circles onto the brown ear shapes, then attach the completed ears to each side of the toilet paper roll.

Glue the hair tuft to the inside of the top of the toilet paper roll so it sticks up.

Step 6: Add the Eyes and Cheeks

Add two googly eyes above the face piece.

Use pink paint and the eraser end of a pencil to dab on two pink cheeks.

Step 7: Draw the Face and Curl the Tail

Draw a nose and smile with the black marker.

Cut a brown pipe cleaner and curl it into a spiral shape for the tail.

Step 8: Attach the Tail

Glue the curly tail to the back of the toilet paper roll.
