Black Cat Paper Plate Craft

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Gather your supplies so everything is ready to go.

Step 2: Paint the Plate Black

Paint the entire paper plate black and let it dry completely.

Step 3: Trace the Cat Pieces

While the plate dries, trace the ears, inner ears, nose, collar band, and star onto construction paper.

Step 4: Cut Out the Pieces

Cut out all of the pieces.

Step 5: Add the Ears, Eyes, and Nose

Glue the purple inner ears onto the black ear cutouts.

Once the plate is dry, glue on the ears, googly eyes, and the purple nose.

Step 6: Cut the Whiskers

Cut pipe cleaners into shorter pieces for the whiskers.

Step 7: Attach the Whiskers

Glue three whiskers on each side of the nose.

Step 8: Add the Collar and Mouth

Add the orange collar band and glue the green star in the middle.

Use a white paint pen to draw a simple cat mouth under the nose.
