How to Make a Popsicle Stick Cheeseburger

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather your supplies — popsicle sticks, glue, paint, googly eyes, felt in tan, red, green, and yellow, and your trusty scissors. Basically, you’re about to turn a snack into a masterpiece.

Step 2: Build the Patty Base
Glue 4–5 popsicle sticks side by side, then add a small stick across the back to hold them together. You’ve just built the “patty support system.”

Step 3: Paint the Patty Brown
Paint the sticks a rich brown. Yep, you’ve officially got your burger patty. Try not to get too hungry.

Step 4: Trace the Buns
On tan felt, trace and cut two half-bun shapes. Think fluffy sesame seed bun vibes.

Step 5: Cut Out the Buns
Cut those pieces out and admire them — they’re the perfect burger tops and bottoms.

Step 6: Add the Buns
Glue the buns to the top and bottom of your brown popsicle stick patty. Now it looks deliciously recognizable!

Step 7: Trace the Toppings
Trace tomato slices on red felt, wavy lettuce on green felt, and a cheese triangle on yellow felt.

Step 8: Cut Out the Toppings
Cut out all of the toppings.

Step 9: Layer the Toppings
Layer on the tomato, lettuce, and cheese between the buns. Go wild — it’s your burger, no one’s judging the toppings.

Step 10: Add the Eyes and Cheeks
Add googly eyes to the top bun and glue on pink felt cheeks. Your cheeseburger now has a personality… and it’s adorable.

Step 11: Draw the Smile
Use a marker to draw a big goofy smile under the eyes. Don’t be shy — give this burger the grin of someone who just got extra fries.

Step 12: Add Sesame Seeds
Finally, use white paint or puffy paint to add sesame seeds to the bun.
All done!
And there you have it: a cheeseburger that’s too cute to eat but perfect to display!
