Materials Needed for This Shamrock Craft
Step-by-Step Instructions for Creating a Shamrock Craft
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather your supplies: You will need light green and dark green construction paper, black and yellow construction paper, scissors, glue, googly eyes, and a black marker.
Step 2: Cut the Shamrock and Stem
From the light green construction paper, cut out a shamrock shape and a stem.
Step 3: Glue the Stem On
Glue the stem to the bottom of the shamrock.
Step 4: Cut the Hat Pieces
Cut a top hat shape from dark green paper, a thin band from black paper, and a buckle from yellow paper.
Step 5: Assemble the Hat
Glue the black band across the hat and add the yellow buckle in the middle.
Step 6: Add the Hat
Glue the finished hat on top of the shamrock.
Step 7: Add the Eyes
Glue two googly eyes onto the shamrock, then use a black marker to draw a smile.
All done!
Your shamrock man is ready for St. Patrick’s Day!
