Materials Needed
Step-by-Step Guide to Crafting Your DIY St. Patrick's Day Craft Stick Hat
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather 5 craft sticks, green paint, black and yellow construction paper, scissors, and glue.
Step 2: Paint the Sticks
Paint 4 craft sticks green and let them dry.
Step 3: Cut the Brace Stick
Cut the fifth (unpainted) craft stick in half.
Step 4: Glue the Hat Together
Glue the two halves behind the 4 green sticks, one at the top and one at the bottom, to hold them together.
Step 5: Cut the Band and Buckle
Cut a long, skinny rectangle from black paper for the hat band and a small buckle from yellow paper.
All done!
Glue the band and buckle across the lower part of the hat, and your St. Patrick’s Day hat is ready to hang up!
