How to Make a Paper Plate Fox Craft

Here's the step-by-step, easy to follow start to finish.

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Grab everything on the list above and lay it out, this one moves fast once you get started.

Paper plate fox craft supplies including a white paper plate, orange, pink, cream and black paper, acrylic paint, googly eyes, glue gun, scissors, paintbrushes and black marker.

Step 2: Paint the Plate Ivory

Paint the inside of the plate ivory and let it dry.

Step 3: Trace and Cut the Fox Head

Print the patterns, trace the fox head onto the inside of the plate, and cut it out.

Step 4: Paint the Muzzle

Trace the muzzle bridge shape onto the plate and paint that section orange, letting it dry.

Step 5: Cut the Ears and Nose

Trace and cut two outer ears from orange cardstock, a nose from black cardstock, and two inner ears from pink cardstock.

Step 6: Give the Ears Some Fur

Glue the inner ears onto the outer ears, then dab a little white paint on the ear tips for a furry look, that small touch is what sells it.

Step 7: Attach the Nose and Ears

Glue the nose to the bottom center of the face and the ears to the top corners.

Step 8: Add the Eyes

Add the wiggle eyes and the nose to finish.

And then hang your finished fox up on display!
