Paint the outside of the plate brown and let it dry.

Step 3: Fold and Cut the Plate
Fold the plate in half and crease firmly, then cut it in two along that fold.

Step 4: Trace the Wings
Print and cut out the eagle patterns, then trace the wing shape onto each plate half.

Step 5: Cut Out the Wings
Cut out the two wings.
Step 6: Cut the Body Pieces
Trace and cut a body from brown cardstock, a head and tail feathers from white cardstock, and a beak plus two talons from golden yellow cardstock.

Step 7: Assemble the Body
Glue the head to the top of the body, the tail feathers to the bottom back, the beak to the head, and the talons to the bottom. Add the wiggle eyes to the face.

Step 8: Join the Wings
Glue the two wings together at their center points.

Step 9: Attach the Body to the Wings
Glue the assembled body on top of the joined wings.
