Instructions
- Gather your supplies, including toilet paper rolls, paint, construction paper, googly eyes, a pipe cleaner, scissors, glue, and a marker.
- Paint the toilet paper roll brown and set it aside to dry completely.
- Trace circle shapes on orange, yellow, brown, pink, and black construction paper to create the lion’s mane, face, ears, and nose.
- Cut out all of the shapes and fringe the orange and yellow to make a mane.
- Glue the fringed orange and yellow together to create the mane. Then glue the pink and brown circles to form the ears, and attach the black triangle nose to the yellow oval.
- Glue the completed mane and face to the top front of the painted paper roll, then add the ears.
- Attach googly eyes just above the nose.
- Cut a piece of tan pipe cleaner for the tail and glue a small fringe of orange paper to one end to make the tuft.
- Glue the tail to the back of the paper roll.
- Use the black marker to draw the lion’s mouth and whiskers on the yellow face.
- Your lion is now ready to roar!
