Ladybug Paper Roll Craft

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Gather your supplies, including a toilet paper roll, paint, googly eyes, buttons, pipe cleaners, and construction paper.

Step 2: Paint the Roll Black

Paint the toilet paper roll black and set it aside to dry completely.

Step 3: Trace the Wings

Trace a circle onto red construction paper using a round object as your guide.

Step 4: Cut Out the Wings

Cut out the red circle and then cut it in half to create two wings.

Step 5: Add the Spots

Glue black buttons onto both wings to make the ladybug’s spots.

Step 6: Attach the Wings

Attach the wings to the front of the painted toilet paper roll.

Step 7: Add the Eyes and Make the Antennae

Glue two googly eyes near the top of the toilet paper roll to form the face.

Cut a black pipe cleaner in half and curl the ends to create antennae.

Step 8: Attach the Antennae

Glue the antennae to the inside of the toilet paper roll so they stick up.

Step 9: Add Rosy Cheeks

Use the back of a pencil eraser dipped in pink paint to dab on two rosy cheeks.
