What You’ll Need for This Handprint Giraffe Craft
Let’s Make a Handprint Giraffe!
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather your materials. You’ll need orange paper for the body, white paper for the eye, scissors, glue, and some markers.
Step 2: Cut Out the Pieces
Trace and cut out a handprint on orange construction paper. Also, cut out the giraffe’s neck and head shape.
Step 3: Build the Body
Glue the neck piece behind the thumb side of the handprint to form the giraffe’s body.
Step 4: Draw the Spots
Use a brown marker to add spots all over the giraffe’s body and neck.
Step 5: Add the Eye
Cut a white circle for the eye and glue it on. Use a black marker to draw the pupil.
Step 6: Draw the Face
Add a smile and nostril using a black marker, and outline the eye with a white pen for a pop.
All done!
Your giraffe is ready to display!
