How to Make a Paper Plate Bunny Butt Craft

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather all the supplies needed for this project. Having everything laid out before you start makes the process easier and more fun.

Step 2: Trace the Pattern Pieces
Download and print the bunny butt patterns. Trace the foot twice onto white cardstock and the foot pad twice and toe pad six times onto light pink cardstock with a pencil. You could also use colored craft foam or craft felt.

Step 3: Cut Out All Pieces
Cut out all the traced pattern pieces with scissors, making sure to cut inside the lines for a clean, finished look.

Step 4: Assemble the Feet
Attach the light pink foot and toe pads to each white foot with a glue gun and glue sticks. TIP: Liquid craft glue also works — just allow extra drying time.

Step 5: Start the Pom Pom
Open the pom pom maker and wrap light pink yarn around one half circle arm, securing the beginning with a knot. Continue wrapping the yarn until the arm is full and fluffy.

Step 6: Wrap the Second Side
Continue wrapping yarn around the second half circle arm of the pom pom maker. This pom pom was made with about four layers of wrapped yarn. Secure the end with a knot.
Step 7: Cut and Tie the Pom Pom
Close the arms to make a full circle, then cut around the circumference with scissors.
Wrap a 12-inch piece of yarn tightly around the center of the pom pom maker and tie securely.

Step 8: Remove and Fluff
Pull the pom pom maker apart into two pieces to release the pom pom. Fluff it out and trim any uneven pieces with scissors.

Step 9: Assemble the Bunny Butt
Attach the pom pom bunny tail to the front of the inside of the paper plate with a glue gun. To finish, glue one foot to the right side and one foot to the left side of the plate.
All done!
