How to Make a Paper Plate Beaver Craft

With supplies in hand, here's how this one takes shape.

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Get your supplies together first, especially anything that needs to dry, so you're not waiting around later.

Step 2: Paint the Plate

Paint the outside of the plate brown and let it dry.

Step 3: Cut the Face Pieces

Print the patterns, then trace and cut a nose from black cardstock, a muzzle from light brown, teeth from white, two outer ears from dark brown, and two inner ears from pink.

Step 4: Attach the Muzzle

Glue the nose and teeth onto the muzzle, then glue the whole muzzle onto the plate. The teeth are what make this one instantly recognizable, so keep them front and center.

Step 5: Attach the Ears

Glue the inner ears to the outer ears and attach them to the top of the head.

Step 6: Add the Eyes

Add the wiggle eyes above the muzzle.

Step 7: Add the Final Details

Finish with a black marker: small circles across the muzzle for texture, and a line down the center of the teeth.
