Instructions
- Gather your supplies. You will need pink, red, and white construction paper, along with scissors, glue, and a black marker.
- Cut the pink construction paper. From the pink construction paper, cut 3 medium hearts (for the body and face) and 2 small rectangles (for the antennas).
- Cut the red construction paper. From the red construction paper, cut 3 medium hearts (for the body) and 2 tiny hearts (for the antenna tips).
- Assemble the caterpillar's body. Glue together the body of the caterpillar by alternating the medium hearts — red, pink, red, pink, red.
- Create the caterpillar's face. Use the remaining pink heart for the caterpillar's face. Glue the two small rectangles to the top of the pink heart to create antennas. Then glue the 2 tiny red hearts on top of the rectangles as the antenna tips.
- Make the eyes. Cut two small circles from the white construction paper. Use a black marker to design the eyes, then glue them onto the face.
- Attach the face to the body. Glue the pink heart (caterpillar face) to the first red heart in the body.
