How to Make the Y is for Yak Craft
Step 1: Gather your supplies
Gather your supplies.
Step 2: Cut out the template
Cut out the provided template of the letter Y (aka our yak) using your trusty scissors. Careful now, we don’t want any accidental snips!
Step 3: Trace onto brown paper
Trace that cut-out template onto the brown construction paper and craft paper. We’re doubling up for double the fun!
Step 4: Trace onto black paper
Time for a double trace again! This time on black paper. Cut it out and create a little border or outline to make our yak stand out.
Step 5: Glue the pieces
Get that glue ready and stick those pieces in their rightful places on the letter Y. Precision is key, folks!
Step 6: Add the eyes
Let’s give our yak some eyes – two small white circles should do the trick. Stick ’em on and watch your yak come to life!
Last but not least, grab that black marker and add some cute dots to those eyes. Voilà! Your yak is looking fly!
