Paper Plate Ostrich Craft

Some crafts are just born to be crowd-pleasers, and this paper plate ostrich craft is one of them. It’s simple, silly, and guaranteed to spark giggles. There’s painting. There’s gluing. There are long, floppy legs and googly eyes that stare straight into your soul.
And the best part? You don’t need a Pinterest-perfect supply closet or an art degree. Just a paper plate, a few basic supplies, and a kid ready to get a little messy.
Let’s make an ostrich. A very weird, very lovable ostrich.

Gather your supplies.

Step 2: Cut and Paint the Plate
Cut your paper plate in half and paint one side black. Let it dry.

Step 6: Attach the Legs and Neck
Glue the legs to the bottom and the neck to the top of the paper plate.

Step 7: Cut the Head Pieces
