- Cut the yellow construction paper. From the yellow construction paper, cut out a large heart. Then, cut the heart in half to form the bee’s body.
- Cut the black construction paper. From the black construction paper, cut out 3 small rectangles (for the bee's stripes), a small circle (for the eye), and 2 thin rectangles (for the antennas).
- Cut the pink and red construction paper. From the pink construction paper, cut out 1 medium heart (for the bee's wing). From the red construction paper, cut out 2 small hearts (for the tips of the antennas).
- Assemble the bee's body. Glue the 3 black rectangles onto the yellow bee body to form stripes.
- Add the wing. Glue the pink heart onto the back of the bee’s body to form the wing.
- Create the bee's face. Glue the small black circle onto the face as the bee’s eye.
