Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather all the supplies for this paper plate daffodil craft. Having everything ready before you begin makes the crafting process smooth and enjoyable.
Step 2: Paint the Paper Plates
Basecoat the inside of both paper plates with bright yellow acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat if necessary.
Step 3: Trace the Daffodils
Download and print the daffodil patterns, then cut out with scissors. Trace the daffodil flower pattern onto both painted paper plates with a pencil.

Step 5: Add the Cupcake Liner Centers
Attach a white cupcake liner to the center of each daffodil with a glue gun and glue sticks.
TIP: Liquid craft glue also works — just allow extra drying time.
Step 6: Fill with Pom Poms
Glue 5 to 6 assorted yellow pom poms into the center of each cupcake liner to create the fluffy daffodil trumpet.
Step 7: Make the Stems
For each daffodil, attach two jumbo craft sticks end to end with a glue gun to form a long stem.
Step 8: Paint the Stems
Basecoat both daffodil stems with bright green acrylic craft paint. Let dry and apply a second coat if necessary.
Step 9: Attach the Stems
Flip each daffodil flower face down and attach the painted green stem to the back with a glue gun.
Step 10: Trace and Cut the Leaves
Trace the leaf pattern twice onto bright green cardstock and twice onto medium green cardstock. Cut out all leaves with scissors.
