Add a Learning Twist

This isn't just a cute craft. Here's how to sneak in some learning while those glue sticks are working overtime:

  • Talk plant science. What do sunflowers need to grow? Sun, water, soil, and -if they’re lucky- googly eyes.
  • Count the petals. Great for preschoolers working on number recognition.
  • Emotions check-in. Ask your child what their sunflower is feeling today. Happy? Sleepy? Silly? Let them draw a matching expression!
