- Glue the two white circles on the brown center as eyes.
- Use the black marker to draw big black pupils with a small white space left uncolored to give a shiny look.
- Draw a happy smile underneath the eyes using the black marker.
- Use the brown marker or pencil to add little sunburst lines around the sunflower center for extra detail.

Add a Learning Twist
This isn't just a cute craft. Here's how to sneak in some learning while those glue sticks are working overtime:
- Talk plant science. What do sunflowers need to grow? Sun, water, soil, and -if they’re lucky- googly eyes.
- Count the petals. Great for preschoolers working on number recognition.
- Emotions check-in. Ask your child what their sunflower is feeling today. Happy? Sleepy? Silly? Let them draw a matching expression!
